In this adaptation of a classic children’s game, the squares are replaced by words using the magic e spelling. As you move around the board, you read the words, hoping to avoid the snakes, but land on the ladders.
This fast paced and active game provides practice with consonant digraph recognition. It can be played with just the digraphs, or words containing the digraphs. Each player takes turns to flip over a card. If two cards are the same the first player to snap then up, gets to keep the card.
